As of December 29th, SELT is the proud owner of the 44.6 acre Ann Tibbitts Schulz Turtle Brook Preserve off of Brewster Road and shown below. Jim Schulz and his two grown children wanted the property conserved and dedicated in Ann’s memory. SELT will be working with them on the contents of a kiosk which we hope to install within the next year. Ann was active with the Commission for many years and the Barrington Conservation Commission members are pleased to protect this gem of a property that includes a significant section of the Barrington Trail. The property is further conserved with a Wetland Reserve Easement that the Schulz’ conveyed to NRCS prior to donating the property to SELT.
