BARRINGTON'S TRAILS

"Weekend Walkabouts"

Next Hike: Saturday, April 14 ; 9:30 to 11:30;

BARRINGTON TRAIL (North); Seavey Bridge Road trailhead

Length 3 miles

Estimated walking time:  2 hrs

DirectionsPark on Seavey Bridge Road off of Green Hill Road. Coming from Route 125 on Green Hill Road, Seavey Bridge Road is about a mile on the left immediately before the bridge over the Isinglass.

We will walk along the Isinglass River until the trail enters the woods to meet the Class 6 section of Seavey Bridge Road. Anyone wanting a very short loop can turn left to return to their car. To continue the longer hike, we turn right and continue on to Scruton Pond Road where we take another right to walk down to the continuation of the trail that leads to a view of heron nests. We will return from there.

Below is a link to the Barrington Conservation Commission website and a map of the Barrington Trail.  Be aware that Berry Road is now Seavey Bridge Road.
